This Privacy Policy explains how Mike the IT Guy (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit mikeitguy.com (the “Site”) and when you purchase products or request services through the Site. By using the Site, submitting a form, or making a purchase, you agree to the practices described below.

- Support requests / contact forms: When you submit a support request (for example, via SureForms), we may collect the information you enter such as your name, email address, and the details you provide about your issue.
- Store purchases: When you purchase a product or service through our store (WooCommerce), we collect the information needed to process your order such as your name, billing details, email address, and order information.
- Account information (if applicable): If you create an account on the Site, we may collect basic account details such as name and email.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Technical data: Like most websites, we may collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, approximate location (city/state), and pages visited. This is used for security, analytics, and site functionality.

1.3 Comments (if enabled)

We may use third-party remote support tools (for example, Zoho Assist) to provide remote support sessions. When you join a remote session, limited technical/session information may be processed by the remote support provider in order to connect the session and provide the service.
- Approval required: Remote sessions are started manually and require your approval on your device.
- Recording: We do not record remote sessions without your consent.
- Third-party policies: Third-party providers have their own privacy practices. We recommend reviewing their policies if you have concerns.
4) Payments, WooCommerce, and Payment Processors
Purchases on the Site are processed through WooCommerce and one or more payment processors (for example, Stripe or PayPal, depending on what you choose at checkout). Payment details are handled securely by the payment processor.
- We do not store full payment card details: Credit/debit card numbers are processed by the payment provider and are not stored on our Site.
- Order records: We retain order details (such as order items, dates, and billing/contact details) for accounting, support, and recordkeeping.
- Fraud prevention: Payments may be screened for fraud/abuse by our payment providers.
